One More project down.

Well, I got one more project finished before I start training at the post office. I got Mikey's sling finished. Here are a few pix of the progress...

the next project to tackle is the patch for the International Community Boot Black contest in 2 weeks....

I think you would be a great canidate. It is quite a long interview process and training is quite involved.

My ex and I made slings for a while, so those scenes are familiar to me. We would buy hides of leather, hand-cut, dye and finish them, assemble, et al. They were based on the design of a sling he bought in 1974.

I like your use of firehose as a material. I haven't seen that before. Nice work.

I also first started making slings of leather. When I moved to Fire hose. I like the medium of fire hose. I would love to see the of your slings...

It is a sling made of fire hose. It is not for cleaning windows it is for deliveries. "All deliveries in the rear"....

From start to finish (considering I have enough rivets and D-rings on hand) it takes about 5 hours...
