Sunday night Rex and I went to the final concert of Bears on the Run. It was FABULOUS (and I don't use the "F" word lightly!) WOW what talent those guys have. Elijah Black, Shannon Grady, Kendall, Matthew Temple & Bobaloo along with very cute violin/fiddle player (I never did catch his name) traveling around the mid-west for a 2 week tour. Their original tour was suppose to end in Tulsa. Lucky for us Ken the president of the Wichita Bears contacted them an asked if they would add Wichita on to the tour. Sunday was their last night of their tour and it was very emotional for the guys. You could really tell that they had bonded strongly over the many day and miles spent together. The concert lasted over 3 hours. Each one did 3 songs and they were very captivating. Not just their wonderful musing but there presence and bearness (that's a word, right?) Even though I have never met these guys before, I felt as though I had been let into the group. I already miss them. Of course I have do get a CD each one so that I some great bear music to listen to at work. I am listening to Shannon's Album right now. Woof! What a bear!
