One more step to Postal.

Well, the crown prep went well. The Novocaine started to ware off a bit and Dr gave me another shot. He seemed a bit annoyed that he had to stop mid way through grinding down the filling. The assistant got the temp crown on and it is doing fine. I wasn't sure if I would be able to work at the Post Office, but I had no pain.

Speaking of working at the Post office, 2 things happened last night. First I got my first letter addressed to the North Pole. At this point I knew that the season is here. Every terminal has a sticker on for the zip 4 for the North Pole. I understand that every one of the letters that are sent to this zip 4 are answered. The closer to Xmas the more that will some through. The second things was that I worked my first 8 hour shift. I will probably get in trouble because I did not take a lunch break, but so what. I was so tired by 3:00 am that I don't even remember getting into bed. I must have, because when the alarm went off at 6:00 am I was under the cover and I must have taken my clothes off, because I was naked. I don't know how many of those I can do.

Poor (((Irishbear!))) Mebbe you should write a letter to Santa and ask for a part time job that really is 'part-time'.

North Pole is a suburb village of Fairbanks, Alaska (the entire town is Christmas themed year round right down to the candy cane street lights). These letters are sent there and a huge group of volunteers up that way responds to all the kids. I once met someone who was one of the volunteers when I was living in Fairbanks. It's quite an undertaking!
