work, work, work

Wow, it has been a day. Work (my mundane life) as the usual crap the "boss" who lets me know that "she is the boss", did not tell me that the power was out at one of the substations. I did not find out until one of the the networking guys called to see if I knew what the problem was. Then she set up two meetings for thing that should have been resolved days ago. OK, slow down... watch the blood pressure..... calm, calm, calm.

Luckily the evening went much better. First, tonight was Feed the Bears. There was a pretty good turn out at the buffet. There were 14 in all, glad it was a buffet because it, was dish, dish, dish.

I have been looking for a bobbin for the industrial sewing machine in the basement. I got 2 different sizes at Jo-Ann's and neither one fit. Then I though to use the disposable one that I got at the Yard Store (surplus heaven). That worked and I got inspired to make some paddles from one that Gryphon showed me when we were in KC. I think that they turned out great. The pictures are here somewhere. Take a gander and let me know what you think.

Dude, you nailed it. HOT HOT HOT!

There is a sewing supply place over on Truman that would most likely have your bobbins. Bring the model info next time and we can hit it.
